Unlike personal trainers, who typically work with the general population to improve fitness, AEPs are trained to understand the complex relationship between exercise, disease, and the human body. Our programs are safe, tailored, and grounded in medical knowledge.

Bring any referrals or medical information that is relevant to your condition. It is recommended to wear comfortable, loose clothing as well as supportive/closed in shoes you can move in. Feel free to bring along a water bottle and towel to your exercise sessions.

Initial assessments typically take 45–60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on your needs and program.

Absolutely. We focus on improving balance, coordination, strength, and confidence — all key to reducing falls risk, especially in older adults.

Yes — in fact, the right type of exercise is often essential for managing conditions like diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, or chronic pain. We tailor everything to your current ability, making it safe, gradual, and achievable.

Yes — you may be eligible for Medicare rebates if you have a chronic condition and a referral from your GP. Many private health insurers also offer rebates. We can help you check your eligibility.

Yes — if you’re an NDIS participant with funding under “Improved Daily Living” or “Capacity Building,” you can access Exercise Physiology to support mobility, strength, independence, and function.
You don’t always need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist, but we proudly partner with all provider networks
