Macarthur Physiotherapy was founded by Gaven Williams in 1989. Gaven recognised that there was a distinct need to provide efficient and effective musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy services across the Macarthur area.
Our practice and team have grown to 8 highly skilled physiotherapists across 2 locations. Today we work closely with local doctors and specialists to deliver the best care to people of all ages and activity levels.
Our team regularly take part in seminars and courses to improve their clinical skills and acquire the latest knowledge in physiotherapy and sports medicine. With sound clinical expertise and the latest research evidence, our physiotherapists can provide more effective and efficient treatment to our clients. Additionally, we have clinician’s who have conducted; and participated in clinical research trials.
Combined there is over 75 years of clinical experience at Macarthur Physiotherapy and we have helped over 10000 people in the Macarthur region.
When you attend Macarthur physiotherapy you will receive a thorough one on one assessment, be given an accurate diagnosis and receive effective treatment. Your appointment will not be rushed and our physiotherapist’s will not be juggling 2 or 3 patients at once.Â

Meet The Team

Gaven began his career as a physiotherapist in 1984. In 1990 his first Campbelltown practice, Macarthur Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre was opened in Lindesay Street. Gaven has undertaken post-graduate training allowing him the titles of Tier 2 Musculoskeletal and APA Sports Physiotherapist. Gaven has worked with a wide variety of people from Olympians and wheelchair bound athletes, to professional footballers and the elderly. He was the physiotherapist for the West Tigers and Magpies for a decade. He has a particular interest in managing complex pain and movement disability with manual therapy and remedial exercise. As a keen cyclist, Gaven can provide assessment and recommendation of bike setup, the only available service of this kind in Campbelltown.
When Gaven isn't in the clinic you will catch him out riding his bike or spending time with his family.

Luke is an APA titled Sport and Exercise physiotherapist and is our 2nd practice principal at Macarthur Physiotherapy.
Luke has a particular interest in treating more complex conditions of the neck, shoulder and lumbar spine, as well as dizziness and vertigo. Through detailed history taking and physical examination, Luke has a passion for problem solving and developing a tailored and individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Though his post-graduate masters training Luke has spent time at the NSW waratahs and NSW institute of sport. Luke was previously the head physiotherapist
at Macarthur Rams. When Luke isn’t in the clinic he enjoys running, playing golf and going hiking in the bush.
Andrew is a highly experienced APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with over a decade of dedicated practice. His extensive expertise spans working with athletes at all levels, including NRL teams such as the Wests Tigers and Parramatta
Eels, as well as Olympians and emerging talent. This diverse experience fuels his passion for helping individuals from all backgrounds and circumstances achieve their physical goals and potential. Andrew has a particular focus on the rehabilitation of foot and ankle injuries and specialises in managing post-operative recovery for complex cases, including ACL reconstructions. By combining advanced clinical knowledge with a patient-centered approach, he tailors each treatment plan to meet individual needs and goals, ensuring optimal outcomes for his clients.
When he's not in the clinic, Andrew enjoys staying active through golf and distance- running. He also remains an avid and lifelong Manchester United supporter, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to his personal pursuits as he does to his professional practice.
Andrew completed his Physiotherapy studies at Western Sydney University graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy following transition from the Defence Force. Professionally, Andrew has held a number of roles within local community rugby league and within the Wests Tigers junior representative system. Andrew is
the physiotherapist for the West Magpies NSW Cup team and Camden Rams Men’s & Women’s senior teams. Andrew is passionate about treating sporting based injuries particularly rugby league and weightlifting. He also has a particular interest in treating all musculoskeletal injuries, treating current and former defence force members and returning people back to work and daily tasks following injuries. Outside of clinic and football, Andrew enjoys lifting weights at the gym and spending
time at home with family.
Mel is one of our physiotherapists who works at our Park Central Clinic. Having recently graduated from Western Sydney University, Mel is passionate about patient care and seeing patients through their whole patient journey. Mel has experience
working with patients in rehabilitation and acute settings and has an interest in continuing to broaden her knowledge in all aspects. When not in the clinic, Mel enjoys running and playing basketball or touch football and playing the cello.
Nikita is a registered Physiotherapist in Australia as well as India. After completing her graduation from University of Sydney, she joined Macarthur Physiotherapy as a
new graduate in 2022. Nikita has a particular interest in women’s health conditions. She offers a range of services including pelvic health therapy (for issues like incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain), pregnancy and postpartum care, core and pelvic floor rehabilitation and treatment for musculoskeletal pain like back, hip, and shoulder discomfort. Whether you’re recovering from childbirth, dealing with pelvic pain, or simply want to improve your movement, Nikita is here to support you with a personalized, hands-on approach. Nikita will work with you to help you feel your best and live pain-free, no matter where you are in your journey!  When Nikita isn't in the clinic you will find her training her hand-eye coordination skills, playing board games and binging on K-dramas.
Sam graduated from the University of Sydney in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). Since then, he has gained valuable experience working as a physiotherapist for the Macarthur Rams FC youth teams and the Wests Tigers
Pathways program. Sam has a keen interest in treating dizziness and vertigo, sports injuries, and post- operative rehabilitation particularly from knee and ankle surgeries. Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing gigs on the weekends with his band whenever
the opportunity arises.
Kimberley is our Exercise Physiologist who works at our Lindesay Street Clinic. Kimberley studied at the University of New South Wales and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology.Â
Kimberley has 12 years of experience across diverse areas, including aged care, NDIS, paediatric populations, and musculoskeletal conditions. Kimberley enjoys creating tailored evidence based exercise programs that promote improved mobility and quality of life for all clients. She likes to be able to provide her clients with the necessary tools to help empower them to take control of their health.
Outside of work, Kimberley enjoys spending quality time with her partner, family and friends. She also enjoys taking her dog, Poppy, on outings and to the beach!
