Macarthur Physiotherapy was founded by Gaven Williams in 1989. Gaven recognised that there was a distinct need to provide efficient and effective musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy services across the Macarthur area.

Our practice and team have grown to 8 highly skilled physiotherapists across 2 locations. Today we work closely with local doctors and specialists to deliver the best care to people of all ages and activity levels.

Our team regularly take part in seminars and courses to improve their clinical skills and acquire the latest knowledge in physiotherapy and sports medicine. With sound clinical expertise and the latest research evidence, our physiotherapists can provide more effective and efficient treatment to our clients. Additionally, we have clinician’s who have conducted; and participated in clinical research trials.

Combined there is over 75 years of clinical experience at Macarthur Physiotherapy and we have helped over 10000 people in the Macarthur region.

When you attend Macarthur physiotherapy you will receive a thorough one on one assessment, be given an accurate diagnosis and receive effective treatment.  Your appointment will not be rushed and our physiotherapist’s will not be juggling 2 or 3 patients at once.

Meet The Team

Gaven began his career as a physiotherapist in 1984. In 1990 his first Campbelltown practice, Macarthur Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre was opened in Lindesay Street. Gaven has undertaken post-graduate training allowing him the titles of Tier 2 Musculoskeletal and APA Sports Physiotherapist. Gaven has worked with a wide variety of people from Olympians and wheelchair bound athletes, to professional footballers and the elderly. He was the physiotherapist for the West Tigers and Magpies for a decade. He has a particular interest in managing complex pain and movement disability with manual therapy and remedial exercise. As a keen cyclist, Gaven can provide assessment and recommendation of bike setup, the only available service of this kind in Campbelltown.
When Gaven isn't in the clinic you will catch him out riding his bike or spending time with his family.

Luke is our 3rd practice principal here at Macarthur physiotherapy. He started his journey here in 2013 and has continued to grow within the company since. Luke enjoys treating vertigo, all things sports and complicated clinical presentations. He has previously worked as the head physiotherapist for Macarthur rams. Luke has completed a graduate certificate in Sports physiotherapy and is in his final year of his Masters in Sports physiotherapy at Latrobe University, Melbourne.
When Luke’s not working, he enjoys going for walks with his lovely partner Mai and their little fur baby Coco or trying to beat Michael in a game of golf or chase Gaven on his road bike.

Andrew graduated from the University of Sydney & Masters of Physiotherapy program in 2012. He has extensive insight into the recovery, rehabilitation and return to performance of sporting injuries through his experience working with athletes at all levels, including Parramatta Eels, East Coast Eagles AFC and his years in the clinic. Currently enrolled in his final year of a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at Latrobe University, Andrew has a keen interest for sporting injuries affecting the lower limbs, with a particular
passion of treating ankle and knee injuries. He has a strong dedication to providing the most up to date and comprehensive care for all injuries, aiming to get you back to the things you love in a
timely manner. When not in the clinic, you will find Andrew either strolling the golf course, traveling with his partner Kim or tearing his hair out supporting his beloved Manchester United.

Josh is one of our Physiotherapists at our Park Central clinic. Graduating with honours from Sydney University, Josh began his career as a graduate physiotherapist at Campbelltown
Hospital. Seeking new challenges, Josh made the leap to musculoskeletal practice and has now been with Macarthur Physiotherapy for 6 years. He enjoys helping people get back to the things they love in life, and has a particular passion for shoulders and post op rehabilitation. When he is not with us, you will find Josh and his wife spending time with his dog Dora and playing board games.

Michael is a physiotherapist who also has a qualification as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Level 1 ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach. He started with Macarthur Physio in 2019 and has enjoyed working with the team ever since. Michael loves treating sports injuries particularly those from field-based sports, as well as post-op rehab and general day to day niggles. Michael is currently the physiotherapist for the Wests Tigers Harold Matthews team and spends a lot of his time out of the clinic with them on the footy field or in the gym.

Nikita is a registered Physiotherapist in Australia as well as India. She recently joined Macarthur Physiotherapy following the completion of her Masters from University of Sydney. Nikita loves treating musculoskeletal injuries and post-op rehabilitation patients to assist them returning to their optimal functional level.
When Nikita isn't in the clinic you will find her spending most of her time attending dance
workshops and exploring Sydney with her Friends.

Samuel is one of our physiotherapists who travels between our Park Central and Lindesay st clinics. After completing his studies at Sydney University, Sam started with Macarthur Physiotherapy in 2020 and has learnt so much in the meantime. Samuel specialises in sutures
removals, castings, I-Walks, cam boots, sports injuries, post op rehab as well as day to day niggles.
You will catch Samuel playing the occasional gig here & there on the weekend at his local.

Vivarjit is our full-time accredited exercise physiologist. He started at Macarthur Physiotherapy in 2020 and has enjoyed helping patients get back on their feet ever since. Viv specialises in chronic disease management with a special interest in diabetes and addressing modifiable risk
factors such as hypertension, weight management and diet. He also creates strength and conditioning plans for people of all ages and backgrounds based on their goals.
You'll catch Viv in the gym practicing for his powerlifting competitions or chasing after his mischievous dog, Romeo.
